Who has a bass guitar?

So, I need your assistance... 




Do you know of someone who may have a bass guitar that might be willing to part ways with, if only for a while?


I'm looking to purchase an affordable, used, well maintained bass guitar or just borrow someone else's. 
Hopefully I can afford a four-string or five-string one in the near futuro.
