Though there were loads of interesting things happening to me today, I decided to op for this image. Even before I even considered to take a gander to this phenomena, every time I would hear the jingle "Disney, three six five!" for the Disney 365 short-commentaries I would conceitedly jingle along "Omar, three six five!" I know... LAME, right?! =P

Today while listening to the homily, my mind couldn't help it but to wander off... no matter how many trips I took, they all would end up coming back to the Disney logo from that jingle. Hence, as soon as I got home I started dabbling into coming up with a couple of variations according to seasons. These is what the end product represent from left to right: Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring, and a general one for my blog label (seen below the title to the left). Cero Cero Seis - Baby Lounging

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to babysit for my brother and his wife while they get a day for themselves.

I titled this "Baby Lounging" as oppose to baby sitting because my niece didn't give me much trouble and we just chilled most of the day, until feeding time... after that, nap time came easy.

Today, I've got a call from the After-School Program for a second interview for Tuesday, wish me good luck!

Hadn't I done the things I did, I'd had more time for this and had it up yesterday and not today. >=| But no regrets, I spent a great evening helping my parents look for a camcorder as present for one of my cousins. =D

A lot has happened today, starting off with a pre-employment test for an amazing organization that provides after-school programs. Then spent the afternoon/evening with the parentals looking for a present for one of my cousins back in Mexico for her birthday.

The day ended up with a visit to this electronics store which name sounds like a junk food item (pic). I'll give this great store another try, I really would like to work at this electronics 'giant'. GOOD NIGHT!

This has been a day filled with good news! Started with a morning call to be part of an amazing mentor program, then the paperwork arrived in the afternoon. Paperwork is all filled up and ready for tomorrow's interview. Wish me good luck and pray I get accepted to this wonderful program.

Been a week :: Hurricane Alex

It's been a bit more than a week and we finally heard from our relatives, they are fine but just barely. Most of their possessions are gone, there is little food and clean clothing is hard to come by.

I would like to extend my plegarias and invite you to join our family in prayer for those affected by Hurricane Alex last week.
